All Marines will be assigned a watch. The Sergeant of the Guard will be responsible for scheduling Marines and giving them their assignments. Assignments will be rotated weekly to insure efficient Security and prevent Laxness due to over familiarity. The Sergeant of the Guard will be responsible for insuring all Marines are functioning properly as well as be responsible for responding to incidents on his/her watch. Each watch will be responsible for guarding sensitive areas as well as patrolling.

The watches will be split into three watches: First, Second, and Third watches. First watch primary duty time will be from 0800-1600 hrs. Second watch primary duty time will be from 1600-2400hrs. Third watch primary duty time will be from 2400-0800 hrs. One watch will be functioning at a time during condition 3.
