A Gunnery Sergeant billet and he also Performs as a member of the Honor Guard representing the CDF/CMC at ceremonies where protocol or custom dictates using an Honor Guard, Color Guard or Military Escort. Performs as Colonial Defense Force Honor Guard on Capcrica or as a MarDet Honor Guard at CDF installations and war ships. Duties and Responsibilities: Manages and participates in CDF Honor Guard operations. Performs as a member of the CDF Honor Guard. Symbolizes the CDF to Colonial dignitaries at public and private ceremonies. Participates in CDF/CMC arrival and departure ceremonies for the President, heads of state, and other Colonial dignitaries. Performs Military Funeral Honors for CDF active duty, retired personnel, and veterans according to prescribing publication. Acts as an escort or member of an honor guard unit. Participates in CDF/CMC ceremonies on special occasions such as state or CDF funerals, wreath ceremonies, and color guard and escort duties at civil and military events and ceremonies in the 12 Colonies. Performs honor guard duties for installation events, luncheons, retirements, promotion ceremonies, and civic events as deemed appropriate by the Installation Commander. Plans and conducts Colonial Defense Force Honor Guard activities. Plans and conducts Colonial Defense Force Honor Guard participation in CDF ceremonies. Advises CDF activities and coordinates on matters pertaining to ceremonies and protocol. May participate in the Colonial Defense Force Honor Guard Drill Team performing intricate drill routines at civil and military events and ceremonies.
